Tomato Tart Recipe

This tomato tart is a delicious and refreshing twist to traditional tarts. It's made with fresh vegetables, which makes for an excellent snack or side dish at any time of year!

👩‍🍳 Ingredients for 4 people:

FOR PASTRY

-Cold butter 3.5 oz

-Cold water 2 oz

-Oregano 1 tsp

-00 flour 7 oz

-Salt one pinch

FOR RICOTTA FILLING 

-Ricotta 18 oz

-Egg 1

-Salt to taste

-Pepper to taste

FOR GARNISH

-Cosi Come Datterinos 12 oz

-Arugula to taste 


✅ Instructions

MAKING DOUGH

In the mixer pour 00 flour 7 oz

Add very cold butter 3.5 oz

Mix to the “sandy” mixture result

Add oregano 1 tsp  and cold water 2 oz

Mix and put dough in the fridge for 1 hour 


ASSEMBLING TART CRUST

take dough out of the fridge place it in the form on the table

dough is distributed on the form 

Take a tart form (10”) and grease it with butter

Place dough in the tart form and make holes with a fork on all surface (stop motion) 

place form with the dough in the corner 

MAKING RICOTTA FILLING

In the bowl add ricotta 18 oz and egg 1 

Season with salt and pepper and set aside

ASSEMBLING TART 

Add ricotta filling and distribute it evenly 

Add Cosi Come Datterions all around the surface

BAKE@360F for 30 min

It is time to enjoy this refreshing dish! 

Drizzle with olive oil before serving.

Serve warm 🔥
